For over 20 years, The Fitness Firm has been a place of inspiration and health for our active Burlington community. We are dedicated to the total wellness of our members. Our team is committed to providing a friendly, supportive environment that encourages each member to feel comfortable in achieving his or her personal goals.


We educate and motivate. This is what sets The Fitness Firm apart from other clubs. We get to know each member and make it our mandate to welcome, support, and believe in you!


Our expert trainers are actively involved in the advancement of The Fitness Firm; from new services and programs to club renovations. We have a range of trainers for each fitness level - allowing you to train with guidance and independence with a customized workout program.

Kerri Sherk

Co-Owner, Dietitian,
Yoga Instructor, Fitness Instructor


Kerri has been bringing her experience as a Registered Dietitian to the Fitness Firm since 1998. Her practice focuses on weight management through customizable, affordable meal plans and ongoing nutrition counseling and support. Kerri has assisted hundreds of people in finding their natural healthy weight through the delivery of customized programs which meet the needs and goals of her clients.

Ariana Blake-Parsons

Member Service Representative, Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor
(Barre Strength)

Ariana is entering her fourth year as an Honours Kinesiology student at McMaster University, where she studies human anatomy and physiological systems in great detail. She grew up as a competitive dancer and was introduced to the gym at a very young age through helping with and attending her mother’s fitness classes. She was inspired to help others reach their health and fitness goals by her mother and the various practitioners Ariana saw herself when growing up in the dance industry. 


Ariana is pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy and holds a large quantity of experience working with older adults and athletes through positions as a Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant. Ariana’s athletic background has taught her the importance of implementing mobility and strength practice into weight training. 


Ariana provides an amicable approach to training sessions. She promotes the positive impact fitness has on well-being and overall quality of life. She dedicates time at the end of training sessions to take her clients through personalized stretches, allowing them to head into daily activities with more functional strength and flexibility.


Nicole Fazio

Member Service Representative Manager, Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor

Nicole is a graduate of the Health, Wellness, and Fitness program at Mohawk College and a Certified Personal Trainer. Her own personal health and fitness journey has inspired her to help others to do the same. Immersing herself in a new lifestyle has demonstrated the importance of taking care of our bodies and the physical and mental health benefits it has to offer.


Nicole loves to work with people looking to jumpstart their healthy lifestyles to help them become the best versions of themselves. Nicole prefers to include both circuit training and weight training into clients programs, as she appreciates the benefits of both methods of training.

Siobhan Sheridan

Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor
(Body Bar, Cycle, Muscle Mix)

Siobhan is a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor through CanFitPro. She is also certified through R.E.P.S of GB. Siobhan brings 25+ years of experience in the fitness industry with her to The Fitness Firm. She has worked with many populations in Personal Training and Group Fitness and specializes in spinning!


Siobhan likes to recommend tips on how to weave activity into daily living. She believes in making activity enjoyable, rather than a chore!

Adam Bunt

Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor

Adam is a recent graduate from Aldershot High School and a certified personal trainer, and fitness instructor through the CanFitPro program. He plans to study human kinetics at the University of Ottawa in the fall of 2023 and has been an elite hockey player and track athlete for upwards of 7 years. 


After going through ACL reconstruction surgery, Adam has made it his goal to help train the upcoming generation of athletes, to ensure they are strong, fit, ready to play, minimize their risk of injury, and maximize their performance not only in their sport but in everyday life as well. Adam believes that fitness is an essential part of life, and will always aim to help clients realize their greatness, and ignite the spark within that will guide and continually motivate them to push through any obstacle in their way.   


In Adam’s words “Fitness is a journey, and sometimes you need a guide. Do and do it again and eventually, the fog that once seemed impossibly thick will clear to reveal a vast, breathtaking sea full of new land to discover."

Max Bailey

Personal Trainer

Max is a current student who is enrolled in Massage Therapy at Mohawk College. After graduating from CanFitPro in high-school as a PT specialist, he attended Brock University for two years before deciding it wasn't for him. After some time Max has come back to the fitness field and is ready to apply his anatomy and physiology knowledge to help each client with their individual fitness goals. 


Max has a big passion for sports and athletics and was a baseball player for 12 years and a swimmer for 10. He enjoys helping others and is always looking for to help people in fitness, be it elderly, athletics, weight loss, or just generalized health benefits from resistance training and calisthenics.

Faith Minion

Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor

Faith has recently made a professional pivot from a full-time public school teacher to a personal trainer. She is a Canfitpro Certified Personal Trainer Specialist and has been working as a group fitness coach and personal trainer for the past two years. Participating in a photoshoot for her 40th birthday kickstarted her long-time goal of participating in competitive body-building. After turning 40, she entered into the world of natural competitive body-building as a Canadian Physique Alliance Bikini Athlete. To date, she has placed top 5 within the Masters (35+) category in every competition, including at the National level. She continues to participate in fitness photoshoots and is often preparing for an upcoming competition. Faith has learned that fitness is far more than working out and lifting weights. Sleep, nutrition, stress management, and staying well-hydrated are key components to living a healthy lifestyle.

Michael La

Caleigh Kierstead

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner


Michael graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelors in Honours Biology and minor in Psych. He then pursued his Massage Therapy diploma from Mohawk College. During school Michael looked to advance his toolkit and took courses in taping and IASTM through RockTape. Upon graduating, Michael went on to complete the prestigious Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course at McMaster University, and continued to expand his knowledge and expertise by taking more acupuncture courses. Michael is now pursuing health coaching through the Primal Health Coaching course in order to provide a more holistic approach to obtaining your health goals in order to LIVE a QUALITY life. 


Michael specializes in the use of electroacupuncture and soft tissue techniques in order to improve function, strength, range of motion and quality of tissue. He will assess you to see what the underlying cause of your issue is, as well as educating you about what's going on and how we can improve it. His holistic approach will give you specific things to work on in order to achieve your goals!

Caleigh is a former professional ballet dancer and STOTT Pilates instructor. Her journey with Osteopathy began when dealing with dance-related injuries and it inspired her to further her education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO). 


Spending over a decade working in the movement and rehabilitation world showed her the true need for a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. Caleigh's passion for continuous learning and helping others led her to complete her Masters in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences at the CAO. She is a member in good standing of OSTCAN.


Osteopathic manual therapy is a gentle, holistic approach that focuses on treating each person individually. With an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and a philosophy rooted in restoring the body to its natural state, Caleigh looks forward to showing you how osteopathy can help you achieve your overall health and wellness goals.

Sunny Ho

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Sunny is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a passion for holistic healthcare. With four years of training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO), he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice.


Sunny believes in the importance of patient education to allow patients to be more in tune with their bodies to prevent future impairment. He is excited to use his skills to help others in the journey towards improved health.


Sunny is equipped with an extensive educational background in biomechanics, along with human anatomy & physiology.


In addition to his osteopathic skills, Sunny embodies a commitment to fitness and health. He sees fitness not just as a regimen but a component of holistic well-being. Sunny also enjoys playing recreation tennis, badminton and volleyball.
