Fall Prevention Program

Falls are the leading cause of injury among older adults, but they don’t have to be. This Spring, join Ariana for our new Falls Prevention Program, designed specifically for seniors looking to improve strength, mobility, and balance in a supportive environment.






🗓️ Schedule:

🔹Choose to attend 1 or 2 times per week

📍 Mondays, Wednesdays at 11:00 AM
👥 Max 6 participants/session – additional days may open up to meet demand.

💡 Program Highlights:
🔹Led by Ariana, a certified Personal Training Specialist & Kinesiology student at McMaster University
🔹Includes a Functional Movement Screening, sit-to-stand and balance tests to track progress
🔹Tailored for older adults: safe, effective, and engaging
🔹Focused on reducing fall risk, improving confidence, and boosting functional ability

✔️ Increased strength, mobility, and balance

✔️ Reduced risk of falls and improved arthritis symptoms

✔️ Greater confidence and independence in daily activities

✔️ Better spatial awareness and self-efficacy

📋 Requirements to Join:
🔹Guest Registration and PARQ to be completed before attending
🔹Any restrictions outlined by practitioner should be sent to me
🔹Disclosure of any disease that could impact activity level and clearance from doctor or other specialist
